National assessment of tourism impacts should be performed for all protected areas and their peripheries to understand the tourism impact on biodiversity and habitats. The assessment will help to develop tourism protocols and business plans for protected areas. Thus, this target was developed due to the importance of eco-tourism in supporting protected areas development.
