The traditional knowledge system has been developed by the communities to conserve and utilize the biological diversity of their surroundings. Thus, a national assessment of traditional knowledge and a country report should be published. In addition, a research protocol for biodiversity traditional knowledge and documentation mechanism have to be developed and adopted at the national level.
